Yes this is wonderful and yes, eloquent.

But also I don’t see why anyone has the right to belittle victims who did change their minds* halfway through or whatever.  If someone wanted to have sex and then all of a sudden wants to stop, you stop.  You just stop.  I don’t give a shit.  Sex isn’t so important that overriding someone else’s comfort and mental well being is an OK thing to do.

In BDSM we have safe words so we can end uncomfortable situations.  Why is vanilla sex devoid of this understanding?  

*I am not saying the author of the quote implied this

EDIT:  I guess she meant people who say a woman wasn’t raped, she’s just saying she was because she’s ashamed of the encounter.  But what I said still counts because I have heard people say that.
